Application Scientist

Position Summary

  • Serve as the technical expert for the Critical Diagnostics product portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with customers on use of the products and clinical study projects.
  • Perform laboratory testing to support manufacturing validation processes as well as technical support troubleshooting. 
  • Interact directly with customers, end-users, laboratory partners and international distributors, regarding product technical details. 
  • Communicate technical issues and risks to the team and propose solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in regular technical and project meetings.

Education and Experience

  • BS in a relevant science, an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise with immunoassay products to include ELISA and lateral flow. 
  • Working understanding of FDA, GMP and ISO regulations.
  • Understands how clinical laboratories operate and their expectations for product support.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software tools.
  • Must have customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
